- 1 link Blue Seal Kielbasa
- 1 qt. Apple Cider or Apple Juice
- ¼ cup Almonds
- ¼ cup Minute Rice
- ¼ cup Coleman’s Powdered Mustard
- ¼ cup Confectioner’s Sugar
- ¼ cup Lemon Rind
Prepare mustard condiment (1 tsp. dry mustard to 3 tbsp. of confectioner’s sugar).
Set in refrigerator.
In cast iron Dutch oven, bring cider to a boil and add cut up kielbasa.
Boil with lid off until liquid evaporates and kielbasa takes on a glazed appearance.
During the boiling stage of cider and kielbasa, follow measurements given on package of rice for 4 servings; add salt, butter, and lemon rind to water.
Bring to a boil, add rice and almonds.
Set off burner for 5 minutes.
